I am a crazy old dog lady and not ashamed to admit it!! The more pups the merrier and I know that second-hand ones are the best!
I love to watch any cooking competition on TV although I'm not a good cook. I'm just hoping something will rub off on me.
I cry a lot....happy cries, sad cries, cries just because I see someone else crying even if they're on TV!

I am a self-taught artist and crafter who is  always looking for some new creative area to explore.
A Little Bit About Me
I'm the oldest of five kids, four boys and
me and, as you can see, I'm the runt of the
litter!
I go by many names:
Mom to my two kids
Grammy to four of my grandkids
and my great-granddaughter.
Mimi to the other two grandkids
I'll answer to just about anything!
As I'm sure you've already gathered, I'm a southern girl born and bred in southeastern Tennessee.

My Business
As a self-taught artist, I understand the importance of perseverance and determination. I continue to strive to create unique and beautiful art and crafts despite my failures and setbacks.

In my whimsical world of gnome creations, each piece begins as a spark of inspiration from a scrap of cloth or a decorative item. These materials guide my hands in crafting one-of-a-kind gnomes. I find the progression is unpredictable; a gnome I intended to be a girl might direct me, in the middle of the process, that I should create boy instead. This is the part of creating these wee folks that I love because the final creation is always a surprise.
My art pieces are created from my imagination not bound by the constraints of realism and having viewers share their own interpretations of my abstract art pieces brings me such joy. I love using different mediums, watercolors to pen & inks, but it is with encaustic waxes that my passion truly ignites. This favored medium allows me to layer and texture in ways that give each piece a unique depth and character; creating a piece of touchable art that invites the viewer to enter the fanciful world I've created.
