Jethro the gnome settled into his favorite moss-covered nook under the old oak tree, a frothy bottle of amber ale in his weathered hand.  Around him, the twilight forest buzzed with the melodies of nocturnal creatures, a soothing backdrop to his well-earned respite. With each sip of beer, Jethro’s twinkling eyes grew brighter, reflecting the satisfaction of a day’s hard work done well and the simple pleasure of a good drink at day’s end.
